The company was originally founded in 1994 under the name of Duckworth and Shackleford Carpentry Service. In 2003 we changed our name to Cupboards By Design Ltd to better reflect the type of service and product we offer. Our expertise and high professional standards have been recognised over the years by many faithful customers.

HOW WE WORK

Because we understand what quality means to you, we will discuss your requirements in full, exploring design options, ranging from colour to materials and accessories. All our costings are in writing with no hidden extras. When you decide to proceed, we then provide you with full sketches and drawings. A deposit will confirm your order, which we will aim to fulfill in 6 to 8 weeks. We communicate regularly with you so that your project is delivered on time and within budget.

We like to treat your home with respect and try to cause the minimum amount of disruption possible. We have a long list of satisfied customers and we are very happy to provide details of referees if required.

We offer a free estimate service to people within a 15 mile radius of the company premises. A small charge of £20.00 + VAT is made for visits outside this radius. We work mainly in the London area and will consider work within easy reach of London.
